About Method

Since opening our doors in 2016, Method has grown from a one-man show to a happy family of seven. Today, we work out of our offices in Mount Hawthorn, helping Perth businesses with all things digital. We are driven by passion, not only for web design and digital marketing, but by our amazing clients. Nothing makes us happier than seeing their brands and businesses blossom.

It goes without saying that we love what we do, so we continue to learn and grow every day, instilling that knowledge and innovation into all of our projects. We take every new website build as an opportunity to collaborate with our clients and bring their unique vision to life, while still adding our own personal touch as well.

From one small local business to another, you have our word that we will do everything in our power to take care of you and help your business thrive.

Ethan Capolingua
Co-founder, Director

Ethan is a Co-Founder and Director at Method. On a typical day, Ethan can be found managing sales, making business decisions, and squeezing in a quick surf session if he’s lucky. Ethan got into the web development business at age 17, where he discovered a knack and passion for the industry.

Ever since, Ethan has spent years growing his expertise under the guidance of his trusted business mentors, as well as forming a solid partnership with Method co-founder Jordan. Driven by helping small businesses thrive, Ethan believes his clients’ success is his success.

Jordan Lovelle by Method

Jordan Lovelle
Co-founder, Director

Jordan started his side hustle in 2016, chosing the name 'Method' to describe the logical and methodical approach to his work. Today, you'll find him designing & developing websites, as well as handling project plans, client liaisons, and day-to-day operations.

For as long as he can remember, Jordan has loved all things tech, with a particular soft spot for the internet, video platforms and online forums. Although starting as a hobby, the technical skills Jordan developed over the years quickly got him work in the I.T. sector. After meeting Ethan in 2018, Jordan decided to turn his web design side hustle into a company, to create something bigger than himself, and revamp the small businesses of Perth, one by one. Since then, Method has grown and flourished into what it is today.

Teah O'Rourke
Socials Manager

Teah recently returned from living in Gold Coast, where she studied filmmaking, to her hometown of Perth. Since joining the team as content writer and social media manager, Teah has spent her time creating website content, writing blog posts for various clients, and designing graphics for socials. She particularly loves the variety of work she gets to do for our diverse range of clients. We recently discovered, however, that she finds it considerably harder to write about herself than just about anything else.

Outside of work, you can find Teah rugged up, watching re-runs of Arrested Development with her dogs, or editing videos for a freelance project.

Sid the Dog
Office Mascot

Sid is a simple man: He loves his family, his job, and a good steak. Outside of his work in the modelling and emotional support sectors, he spends his time campaigning against the post man and wreaking havoc on chew toys.

Laurence Gardiner
Snr. Content Writer

Assisting Method clients tell their story, Laurence skilfully uses language to promote businesses and sell products.

An unlikely creative, Laurence is a chartered accountant with over 20 years experience. Coming to marketing and business consulting with a strong technical writing background, Laurence found that he relished the removal of the shackles of financial, taxation and legal language. He is now far more comfortable communicating with flair and imagination, than he is preparing accounting advice.

Highly versatile, Laurence can articulate difficult concepts succinctly and can write with precision and accuracy. Or, if you permit him, he can craft a story that evokes emotion, engages and even inspires.
