Our method
Our journey
The company started as a labour of love for Method co-founder Jordan back in 2016. It wasn’t until
2018, when he brought Ethan on as his business partner, that Method really began to take shape &
become the company it is today.
From the beginning, Method’s goals centered around doing everything in our power to help small
businesses in Perth grow and thrive. We truly appreciate the faith you put in our business, and work
everyday to make sure we exceed your expectations.
Our future
As we move forward, we look forward to getting more opportunities to collaborate with small and
local businesses, forming meaningful partnerships, and watching our clients’ successes continue to
skyrocket.
We also hope to encounter more of the like-minded, driven, and passionate business owners we’ve had
the pleasure of working with.
Our team
Since its inception in 2016, Method has grown from a one-man band to a collective of diverse talents and skillsets. We now employ a series of experts, from ux designers and marketing experts, to copywriters and website developers.
Ethan Capolingua
Founder, Director
Ethan is a Co-Founder and Director at Method. On a typical day, Ethan can be found
managing sales, making business decisions, and squeezing in a quick surf session if he’s
lucky. Ethan got into the web development business at age 17, where he discovered a
knack and passion for the industry.
Ever since, Ethan has spent years growing his expertise under the guidance of his
trusted business mentors, as well as forming a solid partnership with Method director
Cullen.
Driven by helping small businesses thrive, Ethan believes his clients’ success is his
success.
Cullen Webber
Director
Meet Cullen, a dedicated web developer and graphic designer who infuses passion into every line of code and pixel he touches. With a deep-rooted love for all things digital, Cullen has mastered the art of crafting immersive visual experiences that leave a lasting impact. Beyond the realm of design, you'll find him by the water's edge on weekends, indulging in his favorite hobby – fishing. Amidst the soothing rhythm of the waves, he finds inspiration that seamlessly translates into his work. Cullen's true genius lies in his ability to merge the realms of technology and art, evident in his signature cyberpunk aesthetic.
Boris Basque
Head of Design
Boris is a highly skilled and experienced UX designer, with a track record of success in
the field. He has been working as a designer for over a decade, and in that time he has
developed a deep understanding of user experience and how to create designs that are
intuitive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. His work has been recognised with
multiple awards, and he is known for his innovative approaches to design and his ability
to create user-friendly products.
In his free time, Boris enjoys practicing jiu jitsu and spending time with his family.
As a firm believer in the importance of accessibility in design, Boris always strives to
create products that are accessible to users of all abilities.
Laurence Gardiner
Snr. Content Writer
Assisting Method clients tell their story, Laurence skilfully uses language to promote
businesses and sell products. An unlikely creative, Laurence is a chartered accountant
with over 20 years experience. Coming to marketing and business consulting with a strong
technical writing background, Laurence found that he relished the removal of the
shackles of financial, taxation and legal language.
He is now far more comfortable communicating with flair and imagination, than he is
preparing accounting advice. Highly versatile, Laurence can articulate difficult
concepts succinctly and can write with precision and accuracy. Or, if you permit him, he
can craft a story that evokes emotion, engages and even inspires.
Teah O'Rourke
Social Media Manager
Teah recently returned from living in Gold Coast, where she studied filmmaking, to her
hometown of Perth. Since joining the team as content writer and social media manager,
Teah has spent her time creating website content, writing blog posts for various
clients, and designing graphics for socials.
She particularly loves the variety of work she gets to do for our diverse range of
clients. We recently discovered, however, that she finds it considerably harder to write
about herself than just about anything else.
Sid the dog
Office Mascot
Sid is a simple man: He loves his family, his job, and a good steak. Outside of his work in the modelling and emotional support sectors, he spends his time campaigning against the post man and wreaking havoc on chew toys.
